1. Your First Italian Words

(I Promise They're Easy!)

Remember when you learned your first word in English?

Well, your first Italian words will be just as memorable! Here are some phrases we'll master together:

  • "Ciao!" - Your friendly hello and goodbye

  • "Grazie" - Because kindness starts with "thank you"

  • "Per favore" - The magic words that open doors

  • "Come stai?" - Show you care by asking "how are you?"

Teacher's Note: During our lessons, we'll practice these phrases until they feel as natural as saying "g'day"!

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now.

2. Making Grammar Your Friend (Yes, Really!)

In our lessons, we turn grammar from a scary monster into a helpful tool. We'll start with:

  • Understanding why some words are "il" and others are "la" (it's easier than you think!)

  • Learning verbs through real conversations

  • Mastering present tense through fun activities and games

Personal Tip: Many of our students love our interactive Google Classroom materials - they make grammar practice actually enjoyable!
